Many details about the upcoming iPhone 16 series have emerged in the form of leaks over the past few months. On several occasions, fake units of the entire iPhone 16 series have surfaced online, highlighting for the first time the design changes we can expect Apple to make, most notably the rumored vertical camera module on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.

Then, for the second time, fake units of the iPhone 16 series showcased thinner MagSafe components on the back of the phone compared to last year. Leaks suggested that Apple might use a color-infused glass back on the standard iPhone 16 models. Apple is also expected to use a new coating technology to reduce the problem of lens flare.

Also, just in time, Apple’s display partners will start production of the iPhone 16 series’ displays next month. According to reports, it is estimated that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models will have the highest production volume among the entire series.

iPhone 16 Series is Expected to Come in Two New Colors

Now, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says he expects Apple may introduce two new colors to replace some of the existing shades. Kuo believes that the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus will continue to come in black, green and pink color options. However, the pale yellow color can be left for the white color. Additionally, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to come in black, white (or silver), and gray options. This year, the “Blue Titanium” color will say goodbye and may be replaced by the “Rose Titanium” color.

Kuo also claims that Apple could change the naming scheme for all colors regardless of changes to the colors themselves. He gives the example of Apple renaming white as “Starlight” when it launched the iPhone 13. Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo had suggested that the iPhone 16 Pro Max could offer better battery life by using battery cells with increased energy density and also a stainless steel battery case.
